Our organic mountain farm Samer is the ideal place for a quiet and relaxing farm holiday in South Tyrol. Our farm is situated in an exclusive location with breathtaking panoramic views from the North Tyrolean Alps to the Dolomites. Surrounded by meadows and forests, you will enjoy absolute peace and quiet listening to the singing of the birds, the chirping of the crickets and the wind in the trees and grasses; the soundscape to switch off and recharge your batteries.
Your children can let off steam creatively in our large natural playground or experience nature with all their senses in the forest behind our farm.
Organic is our conviction
Out of conviction, we have been farming according to organic guidelines for years.
On our organic mountain farm Samer, there live donkeys, dexter cattle, chickens, pigs, bees and our farm cats Nala&Findus.
You and your children can help us with the stable work at any time by appointment. We would be happy to give you a tour of the farm and tell you about our sustainable agriculture and life on a mountain farm.
Organic mountain farm with much history and future
Our farm has a centuries-old history. The Samerhof was first mentioned in documents in 1326, at the time of the late Middle Ages. For us, living on a farm is both preserving traditions and breaking new ground.
During the renovation of the farmhouse, we were very concerned to preserve historical elements. Rural architecture and traditional rustic furniture in the stable and barn as well as in the farmhouse.
Cereals have always been grown on the fields of our farm, which we harvest in summer and grind into flour. You are welcome to visit our historic mill and we will explain you the journey from grain to bread.
